GMK Logistics is pleased to announce that our Melbourne depot, currently based in Laverton North, will soon be moving to new custom-built premises located in Epping.
The facility will achieve a 5 Star Green Star Design and an As-Built v1.3 rating from the Green Building Council of Australia. This 27,431 sqm, state-of-the-art warehousing and distribution facility is located in Melbourne’s north in the premium 4Ten Epping estate at 25 Oldham Road, Epping.
The warehouse will hold over 14,000 pallet spaces as well as housing 430,000 lineal metres of carpet.
This move will increase our storage holding capacity significantly and provide further efficiencies in our warehousing and distribution capabilities.
GMK Melbourne have already commenced the movement of some stock from Laverton to Epping (these clients have been contacted) and the main transition will occur in May 2024.
Customers will be contacted by our Victorian State Manager or the relevant Customer Service representative prior to any movement of your stock.
Further details on a ‘go live’ date as well as full site details will be sent as soon as possible.
